It's OK Josh, I think that's exactly what mine did too. Change that slave!
Jared, It's a normal size Dell. The AutoTap will be smaller, but I don't know if it will work without the laptop. Also the AutoTap needs an OBDII port. It needs a new battery but I'll buy one soon since I just upgraded the thing. (Typing on it now actually). All else fails I'll watch the tach
