We plan to go up I-985N out of GA and go up S.R. 28. That will take us all the way to where we split off for the last couple of miles to the Nantahala Village. We may stop at Nantahala Village, then on over Fontana Damn.

Looks like you may be coming across U.S.74 /19. So looks like the first intersecting place will be Lauada, NC. The first chance to meet up would be Nantahala Village. If you want to meet there, say between 3:30 and 4:00PM, then everyone could drive on over to Fontana Damn together on S.R. 28. That would be cool.
