Clutch Adjustment, Can it help with slipping?

OK, the clutch is definitely slipping. I have the FSM directions on how to adjust the pedal -- can adjustment make a dif with the slipping?

I'm sure we've burned some of the clutch teaching my 16 yr old how to drive a stick, but I remember being able to adjust out some amount of this (a hundred years ago).

Thanks for your thoughts.

Adjusting the pedal will not change the amount of pressure the pressure plate can apply. It is time for a new clutch disc and likely pressure plate if you are still using the stock one.
