				Racing Brake, 99/RZ, 93 rotor/brake comparison..

Well, I thought I post some pics of comparison between Racing Brake, 99/RZ, and 93 stock brakes.. Here are some pics of the FRONT rotor comparison... All Three (Left - RB rotor, Middle - 99/RZ, Right - stock US FD) RB and 99/RZ - Thichness is about the same but RB is bit larger... as you could see RB vs US FD - As you could see, RB is quite larger than stock.. And thicher..

Comparison between 99/RZ vs 93 US FD Front Calipers. 99/RZ Front Caliper - As you could see, one piston is smaller than the other.. 93 US FD - Both pistons are same.. Compare to 99/RZ, piston is bit smaller than the 99/RZ larger piston and bigger than the smaller 99/RZ. Back of 99/RZ and 93 US FD - As you could see bracket for the calipers are much larger..

Nice pics. I had the same 3 sets of brakes laid out in my garage a few weeks ago. Even though I was running the 99 spec big brakes, I gotta say how much I love the Racing Brake setup. Lots of braking torque! These things are awesome! Last edited by albertomg; 03-19-2008 at 10:38 AM. |

Herb, Great pics. Where did you get your 99 RZ brakes? I knew there was a group buy a while back but I haven't seen a source for these since. |
