				Fuel Tank Drain Plug
			 
			
			Does anyone know the size and thread pitch of the drain bolt on the bottom of the fuel tank? TIA.

			Ha... Did not know there was a drain plug for the tank... I guess I need to take a better look at my spare fuel tank..

			Damn, you're a little too late... I just drained my tank and put fresh gas in. It is probably M12 x something. You could probably go to the hardware store and buy (or borrow) a pitch gauge to measure the threads. Or you could even just buy a few bolts for a couple bucks and toss the rejects into the "bucket-o-bolts" that everyone has in their garage. Quote: 
 Step 1: Find plug & place container underneath Step 2: Remove plug Step 3: Watch gas come out (open gas cap for faster flow) Step 4: Replace drain plug I can take a pic this weekend if you want.

			Well, I'm trying to experiment with something and need to know the size and thread pitch in order to see if it will work.
