warwickben is on a distinguished road
in the fsm it says not to reuse the lower control arms . since you not able to buy oem one any more just the racing beat ones. i was told to just put 3 1cm welds on them to make sure they dont come out. i figure by the time iam ready to replace my ball joints again ill drop the money and get the racing beat control arms.

I can tell you from personal experience that the ball joints can come out when pressed back into the original arms. That being said, a little tack weld would be all that is needed to correct the problem! And you can buy new arms - I did. If I had it to do over, I would have bought the rack and pinion system that includes new arms
