Combination of large ports, a decent-flowing carb with no emissions junk, a healthy (though still stock) ignition system, and, naturally, a lightweight flywheel (it only weighs 8 lbs.
 ). The response isn't quite as sharp now with the extra rotating mass of the supercharger, but it's still pretty good for a streetport.
