Thoughts on 1 piece 2mm seals?
What is the advantage of using these over a 2 piece seal? Atkins seals them as a "race" seal so i am curious.

if you go jport or big bridge, you cant use 2 piece seals, the triangular piece could fall into the intake port

Never tried a 1 piece seal yet, but I know the 5+ failures I've had of OEM seals (and atkins.....) were breakages that occured at the very tip of the long portion of the seal, where it meets the corner piece. Given that alone, I'd say a 1 piece seal might take 2-3 more pings vs. a 2 pc. Of course, when it does fail, its probably going to take a lot more stuff with it too
Also, I know the dynamic compression of 1piece seals is not as high as 2piece given the sealing surface of the 2 piece can move around a little more and "fit" the housing/irons better. |

though from what I have read the power out put from a half bridge vs a large street port don't seem to be worth it with the wear on a bridge or half bridge being significantly more and reliability goes down, I'd say full or none

Yes and no on that. I ran a 1/2 bridge for a while, still have the plates and may go back to it eventually. Its good, but there's not the FULL benefit there obviously. However it'll ABSOLUTELY spool the turbo faster and will net a slight power increase if only attributed to the harder hitting turbo response. Definetely worth while, although more gain can be had with a full bridge for sure.
