If we'd gone over the axle it would have used up a full u-bend.

I won't likely do it this way again, but it is kinda cool. I'm just surprised how tolerably quiet it ended up being. It does drone a little bit at certain RPMs, but not in the freeway cruising range, thankfully. Not bad for a pair of old glasspacks.

BigTeddy: We probably could have done that, but again, it would have taken more pipe. Question, though: is it okay to do that at stock ride height with stock soft springs? If it makes more sense, I could do my 3" turbo exhaust system under the axle.
