If you are pulling the core from under the dash, that is the "heater core" without that u will never get heat into the car.. if the AC CORE is the condensor outside by the radiator.. as for the amperage I would use a minimum 50 amp relay |

The Condenser is in front of the radiator, the Evaporator is in the dash. You have to take the whole under dash unit out. Then separate the plastic case and remove just the A/C Evaporator. Put it back together with just the heater core. Easy.
