Well now... the bad news.

I got my test pipe set up and bolted on this weekend at marveled at how empty everything looks with a NA set up in a third gen.

but no sooner did i get it all back together and the fluids filled and fired up to realize my god its much louder than with the turbos on and oops forgot to take a little bit of gas out of my fuel maps so after the black smoke cleared the blue was back. let it idle up to temp and the oil burning seemed just as bad as before so i know its not the turbos although im pretty sure they were on the way out too as per my previous post so now i get to pull it out and check the oil control rings... YAY rebuild time. can you sense my enthusiasm?

well UPDATE engine is fine just fine and new turbos are all that are required.
