Rep Power: 18 | 1st Gen guys, pics of meshies?

The 14" LE mesh wheels just arrived and I'm torn. Do I leave the centers silver, or do I paint them black, or do I paint them gold? Polish the lips obviously So let's have some pics of meshies, Google searching it didn't do me much good.

your car is red im assuming by the avatar? Red and gold is bit 1980s. Black generally goes well with everything. Silver could work as well.

It is the red one. I'm asking for guidance because right now my car has a red interior with blue seats and I don't see anything wrong with it.

Not exactly meshies, but here's a general idea of a red car with black center/polished lip wheels. More pics located at: http://s252.photobucket.com/albums/h...ff918/?start=0 |

I personally like the look of black mesh with polished lip, but I've also seen gold or silver mesh on red cars, and they all look good.

They're outside being de-painted right now. I picked up some bronze wheel paint on the way home. Does anybody have pics? I have black, bronze, white, and silver paint now not to mention about a gallon of Mother's for the "all-polish". What do I do? (Cause if it was up to me alone they'd probably end up blue or something because I have no taste... )

I've always been partial to the look of black center/polished lip on red cars. This combo also works quite well on most any other color car. Unlike some other combos.... Totally polished, or silver centers, also work well on many colors, but not as well as black, in my opinion. |

i say do one side silver, and the other black. or whatever combination of two you like. no one will ever see the left and right sides at the same time, so why not! i dont think bronze and red go well together.

Pete (Peejay) has a nice set of 15" meshie wheels from the day. He currently uses them for rally crossing.
