Question.

When you live in Hawaii, does everyone basicly live on one island and seldom go to others? Or is there some kind of ferry system or something where movement is relatively free?

Majority of residents in Hawaii live on Oahu / Honolulu.
"Island hopping" is popular.
Most do it by plane, but the Hawaii Superferry just started up and is getting popular.

I saw this ferry in Mobile Bay, Alabama about a month ago. It's a long trip to Hawaii from here by ferry.
