My 94 Custom Black on Black
Well shes finally all done and running hooray
sorry for the grainy pics they were taken on a cameraphone. Description after pics! INTERIOR CONDITION 10/10 all interior plastic has been replaced with OEM EXTERIOR CONDITION 9.5/10 only 2 minor scratches in the paint on the racing beat front chin spoiler. ENGINE BAY CONDITION 8/10 only minor scratches on the strut towers from careless inspectors. all engine plastics and such are new oem. OVERALL CONDITION 9+/10 Mods: Custom Midnight Black with red fleck paint Racing Beat TypeII spoiler Racing Beat front chin spoiler 3.5" Straight-through exhaust NON-Sequential Stock Twin Turbo Custom Twin Cold Air Intake Power FC and Dataloggit Autometer Triple Gauge pod and gauges R2 Microsuede Seats Rotary Performance Smoked Front Turn Lamps Custom Pulley setup (CNC pulley's made by me at my work) I didnt really want to go down the whole crazy power path for this car but wanted a close to stocker with the utmost in reliability and driveability, since going non-sequential i havent been able to get the smile off my face, the lag is pretty much non-existant due to proper assembly and tuning. i wanted a mostly original rx7 that drives as good as it looks. a lot of money, time and sweat went into this car and im happy that its finally near perfect. I plan to have the engine bay repainted this winter again to get rid of the strut tower scratches. Let me know what you guys think! Cp1

looks great man. i still dont know what i want to change my color to (currently montego). i've always wanted a blacked out fd, but TGM is very very appealing as well.
now drop it some and.....schwing, boner!

^yep definitely need a new camera.
I like the blacked out look more and more from everything ive done to this car, i now am looking at putting these on to even further the whole black crisp thing. its either that or get the stock wheels powdercoated in black chrome. the turn lamps from rx7.com in my opinion make the car look so much nicer. the factory ones were really fogged from age and just too white the more i look at the car i just think the subtleness of all black is more appealing. And as for dropping it unfortunately i wont be doing that anytime soon as where i live is known across canada for its poor unkept roads. potholes and crap are just too common. its actually so bad that if it were lowered any i dont really think i could drive it here.

will the silver go with all the black? I'd say go all black (a la Batman) or dark bronze. I am going all black with Bronze. If it was an option I'd go with the Volk T37 Time Attacks but it's not. I LOVE THOSE WHEELS!!!!!

well i love the style of the BBS wheels but unfortunately real BBS wheels are way out of my price range so i got to looking at imitation brands like these and if they made the whole thing black i would be happy but from what ive seen i cant find anything that i like in total black.

save money for the nice rims. Send the stock rims to a powder coater and get them done in black and put some nice tires on it. Either way, the car will look great. I love Blacked out cars.
