A lot of work happened this weekend, but not a whole lot to show for it. That's how it goes sometimes.

I had to redo the -16 AN fitting locations on the radiator, WP housing, and filler neck due to interference with the AC pulley and for line routing. I guess it helps to have all the parts in the car when you are mocking things up ![]() Not pretty but they should work. Once I got those finalized I made up the radiator lines (didn't grab any pics). Then I was able to finalize the duct mounting. Only grabbed a pic midway through, but both sides are done now. And I was also able to mount the oil thermostat. Again no pics. |

Got some small items finished off this weekend. Finalized all the coolant fittings and hardlines on the WP housing and turbo, fixed the -6 AN vacuum bung on the UIM and prepped a bunch of stuff for powder coat. Also got the exhaust figured out and the mid pipe fully tacked and ready to final weld. Just need to cut one more piece for the rear section and it's ready also. At this point effectively all of the fab work is done. Just need to run the AN fuel lines, oil lines, and PS lines and slap everything back together. Then the only thing left is finish pinning the engine harness and make the aux harness and jumper ECU harness.

It's been a long time since I've had a chance to work on the car, but we got a good weekend in.

I got the 4" exhaust finished up and hung. Got started on the powder coating (still a lot more to do), and Brian banged out the oil cooler lines and a bad ass PS cooler mount. I also got the ECU harness fully pinned, but no pictures of that. |

![]() Thanks on the dash, it's taking some thought to try and fit the gauges and controls in there and still look like it's supposed to be that way. We'll have to see if I'm successful.

Well it's been quite a while since I've updated this. A lot has happened over the last 6 months or so. Not as much of it on the car as I would prefer

![]() I picked up a new toy and have been enjoying tracking it over the summer. Oh, I also got engaged ![]() I haven't had a lot of time to get up to work on the car, but we've made some good progress. Got the rest of the powder coating finished, and all the engine accessories are getting on for the last time! Still need to fabricate an overflow and washer fluid tank, finish the wiring , make a turbo drain line, and mount/plumb the wastegate solenoids. Sounds soo simple when you type it out ![]() Brian did a killer job on plumbing the oil coolers, and the hardlines for the PS cooler. He's also been putting in work on the wiring which is much appreciated and has stayed my murderous desires every time I look at the fucking wiring. Last edited by RXtacy; 12-18-2017 at 08:32 PM. |

Coming along nicely. I would say something smartass about progress and geological epochs, but I seem to have too many damned windows in this house for rock throwing.
