That does appear to be from a 1979 to 1980 RX7.
The front one marked SA appears to be the same as your transmission. The 79-80 model RX7s are usually referred to as an SA as opposed to the 81-85 RX7 which is referred to as an FB model (rear transmission).

North american chassis codes were different but in Japan and aus, all first generation rx7s were SA22C, generally referred to in aus as s1 (integrated selector), s2 & s3 delineated by bumpers/brakes/g-box/diff/oil cooler changes between 79 & 84/5 build.
