hitachi 4 bore carb issue

Dear Mr. "C"
Thanks for taking the time to address my issue but, you referred me to RX7 manuals available from Fox. Well, first of all I don't think that the 4 bore Hitachi carb was used on the RX 7 (cuz mine is from a '76 REPU).
Secondly, those manuals are not available anymore . I tried to download the '80 RX 7 one and---no dice.
Lastly,would a factory manual really tell us how to convert a vacuum operated secondary system to mechanical? Any other ideas anyone?
