I know right ? never had that happen before, i'm generally pretty accurate with my regular ratchets. I warmed the engine up and it did it again. must be the new gaskets seating. took the torque wrench after it this time an followed the specs.

well i got the starter replaced an it fired right up. it happily scared the shit out of me
