I think I was supposed to drive to Deal's Gap with you guys this past April lol. Were you in that group? I left from Cape Girardeau but I live in CO. I left the day before the StL guys left.

Welcome!

I sure haven't realized how long it has been since I updated this thread, between being busy with work, family, and just life in general I suppose I forgot about it.

The sad news is that I had to say goodbye to my old RX-8. I miss the car but I got a good offer for it and at the time was wanting to get an FD, well it didn't work out that way. Very shortly after selling my old 8 I found something else. That something else was another 2004 Ti Grey RX-8..... This one had an authentic Mazdaspeed front end and also a Petit SC kit installed. I made the drive from MO to VA and brought the car home.

Here is what the car looked like when I got it.

First things first I ordered and installed a set of Bilstein PSS9 coilovers just in time for DGRR A couple pics from the event that year.

Also I had gotten 2nd place for the RX8 class that year.

After DGRR my next round of mods started to be finished up, I acquired some MS sideskirts and rear diffuser. Also I picked up a set of Enkei Kojin wheels 18x9.5 +30.

Started to do some minor work in the engine bay, relocating the battery and also moving the A/W Intercooler tank. Started work on my tray to cover the radiator.

After these things I stopped modding for a while so that I could enjoy driving the car for the last couple months of summer/fall. Heres a pic from a local Rotary cruise, the car ran great.

Since then I really haven't been able to do as much as I wanted with the car, I ordered a few parts and the car has been sitting in the garage awaiting for me to start working on it more. I hope that I can find the time to do so soon.

That is all for now though, I will update here when I make some more progress worth updating.
