Okay. I have in my hands a 1987 factory service manual. I don't see anywhere to check the depth of the bolt. What section is the bolt depth info in?

I have an '89 FSM, and found it in section C, page C-62. Assuming your '87 manual follows the same format, you'll find it in section C, but the page # and specs may be a little different - don't know myself. FYI, below is the content from the '89 FSM. Recommend you find same content in your '87 FSM and use those specs instead.
