Which is why you don't go to just any Smog station, target high volume shops who are more focused on churning the cars through quickly. Or shops that know you as a faithful repeat customer. Ounce of prevention more valuable than a pound of cure.

Reality, in the enthusiasts world dealing with smog checks is a game of hide and seek. Who ever plays the game the smartest dwelling in areas of grey stays in the game.
