![]() http://www.sakebombgarage.com/FD3S-brake-system/ ![]() Here's a review from one of our first customers. Customer: Jim M. Instructor at BIR Performance Driving School Review: In summary, I am very pleased with the brakes. I love the way the pads go in – pad changes are going to be 5 minutes and no headaches! The protection around the bleed screws is appreciated for risk mitigation but is a bit of a PITA when bleeding. I was using a vacuum bleeder and it was tough to keep a box-end on the outer screw and get any range of motion for loosening/tightening. Track-use:
At the last minute I decided to take the pad compound up a notch (don’t ask me why) and I tested DTC-70 instead of the DTC-60. Bedding in was a bit scary – I did it on the track during hot lapping on my “wet” tires which are street tires (my ABS is not working and I didn’t want to flat-spot my track tires). The corner workers thought I was nuts. I drove four 20-minute sessions in the afternoon: Impressions:
