So a bit of an update.. Last weekend I/we dug into the FD again, the tranny is on the engine now, the manifold nuts were all swapped out for Copper Clad locking ones, the engine mounts are torqued down and the engine subframe is bolted back up to the frame.
We got the stock fuel lines fully removed last weekend (thanks James/JL1RX7!) and now all that is left is for me to make the mounting plate for my fuel filter and measure/cut my fuel lines. During the week I decided to go a slightly different path with my fuel routing.. I spoke with Brian and we'll be mounting a swirl pot in the trunk with my Bosch 044 mounted externally on my rear subframe, next to my fuel filter, to feed the fuel system with no worries of fuel starvation. I think (pretty positive) we'll be remaking my meth tank at the same time and relocating the associated aquamist pump/wiring (if anybody has suggestions for location and aesthetics I'm def open to them, I have an idea in my mind but additional input is always appreciated). So yeah, I was a lazy fuck this weekend and I relaxed (played the shit out of, and hated, the new DLC for Borderlands 2) instead of finishing up the fuel lines. It looks like I'll be putting a couple hours into fuel routing each night this week. That way everything will be ready next weekend when Brian comes back down for the final house-call... Hopefully by this time next week I'll be too busy breaking in my new engine to post up ^_^
