Well, I dont know, but I can tell you this much:
it certainly does not LOOK like a structural support, but you nere know, and as for the wheel well, I dont even HAVE a spare, so I'm going to go and cut that well out and just weld a flat plate in, less metal, less crap...  drifting and not caring about asthetics so much FTW!
