New to the club after all these years
Hi all, i'm Rob from the uk. I've owned my fd for about 7-8 years now. It started off as a bone stocker but over the years i've modified and rebuilt the motor myself which was a very proud moment for me. Right after rebuilding it, i drove over to germany and did 14 laps of the nordschleife but soon after i realised i wanted more power.
The car was pushing 320bhp at the flywheel but it does have a very conservative map on it. Unfortunately due to family commitments, money problems and a few personal problems i haven't driven the car for around 3 years now and i've been out of the social circle, but things have improved a lot since, so i'm doing a heap of modifications to the car at present. It feels like a totally new experience to me all over again. I've got that feeling back that i had when i first purchased the car. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that. I'm currently learning how to map with the pfc so i've a long road ahead, but thanks to Chuck, raymond and brian and all the rest of the members, i'm definitely set on the right path to success. Anyway, that's a bye from me for now. |

Welcome Robbie. You talked to Brian and didn't get lectured about the almighty MOTEC over the PFC? You're either a very brave or a very lucky soul. This is a fun place, hope to be hearing more from you.
