Got my "dual" oil coolers installed, and the surge tank as well. Mazfest in 2 weeks!

Added an FD oil cooler to the current setup, so it's the FC cooler plus one in the brake duct It was my friend's old setup - he sold it to me for a song while he installed his mocals.

Surge tank was built by a friend of mine, it's bolted up next to the gas tank in the empty muffler spot. 2 liters feeding a modified bosch 044 by jayracing, supplied by the good ol' supra pump

Hopefully this'll be the end of starvation in left turns!

Hehe. Here are the pics - it's not much, but it'll save my butt in that loooooooong left turn on the nascar oval.

I don't think the tire will ever contact the lines, but I'm going to check that often just to make sure - maybe build a shield for it. That or buy elbows and solve the problem altogether. We'll see!

FD cooler:

Surge tank was awesome. Ran the car all the way down to empty and everything was normal, no starvation at all The big banked turns 1 and 2 were great tests for the setup Turn 3's a 40mph corner, and I'm doing maybe 120+ approaching it from the bank - a great test for any car's brakes hehe. Car needs more power now.

I haven't gotten any instruction since I first started 3 years ago, so this one was a practice during Speedventures' Time Attack competition. My car doesn't have enough guts to compete with the rest which have 380+ HP... yet.

Ate as many cars as I can in the corners, but this course has so many fast sections that I get pulled on pretty easily.

Not much going on. Car's getting a v-mount in January, so I'll hopefully have some power to play with sometime that year. Still need another set of wheels so I can put nice race rubber on them instead of DD'ing 180 treadwear tires to work. Work's keeping me pretty busy

Not much of an update, but power upgrades will be done this year, and be completed hopefully by the end

With the front end of the fuel setup done, I'm looking to improve on the factory systems at the engine. Picked up a pair of ID2000's for a steal, and soon a PS1000, wideband, and maybe an IQ3 logger!
