Well i got anti-lag working on the e6k using the BAC valve. I used two trailing coils to get sequential ignition to avoid ignition problems with retarding a waste spark setup. If I hit the antilag swtich at idle, the rpms will raise to about 2k rpm, but it wont build boost unless you raise the rpms to about 4k or so. but if i cruise at 2krpm and turn on the antilag, it will build boost easily. but it does take a second or so to hit 10psi. but i does take off a lot quicker when you have 15psi at 2krpm! it is awesome. I may take it to a dyno and see what the torque curve looks like

Any horsepower restricted car sould utilize some form of boost control to make the maximum hp from as early as possible and keep it there. That's just common sense if you want to win.

so ive been doing some more reading and on modern wrc cars, they use a different type of antilag that uses EGR. instead of using a throttle bypass valve to get air to the turbine, they use a engine bypass valve that goes directly from post compressor to the turbo manifold like this
![]() I was thinking about trying this, but using the factory EGR passages.. all I would have to do is make an adapter to bolt up a vavle to where the ACV or EGR would go. Im thinking the factory vavles are probably too small this way it could still idle normally, but the turbo would get plenty of air for the antilag when enabled
