The feed might be a little more difficult. I can't remember if there's an 1/8" npt fitting under there or not, that would be easiest. Otherwise you might need to get a hydraulic shop to silver solder a -4 fitting onto the inlet and run that to your pedastal.

Instead of drilling and tapping the front cover, I would weld a bung onto the front cover instead of tapping it, the AL is a little thin.
He said hes a cheap ass brian... I have tapped an s5 na cover for the stock turbo return setup and it held ok. I just made sure to watch my torque on those bolts (luckily its only return so they dont have to be super tight). I don't know if the 12a cover has the same thickness casting though

IIRC the restrictor is made into the stock turbo... no other restrictor necessary.

Not to thread-jack, but can anyone confirm exactly where the restrictor is located on an S5 turbo? Is it in the turbo itself, or is it inside the stock oil inlet pipe somewhere?

Reason I ask is I'm finding a pretty significant amount of clean oil accumulating inside of my IC and IC piping (stock IC) over a short period of time, which leads me to think my turbo is getting too much oil. The turbo is BNR Stage 1 rebuild/hybrid mod setup, that was done in Feb '11, so I assume the turbo is OK.
