All in all though, I got just about everything accomplished for DGRRXI that I wanted.... but I gauruntee that there will be another laundry list in 7 months.... After all that's done, I'm going to redo the intake piping to match the BNR's inducer better. I think there's a few ponies to be had there

So, you will be done before midnight tonight? LOL!

How are you doing man? I might have to pull a copy cat, and mimic your front bumper support

WHY???? I we make more torque @ 2500rpm than that thing makes at full song? Seriously.... it wouldn't even be on the chart... and if it was, it would have to be in portrait moder, zoomed WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY the hell out

I think that one is FUBAR.... maybe I'll send you 3, there's a black 'vert that might need one

This is very true! Dude, I'm surprised I was able to stay up that long... that was 36 hrs straight with 3 hrs of sleep... I was fucking SPENT!

Those things are AWESOME! Did you see the size of the rotors! Were you out there when we were taking them apart? i know AJ came out in disbelief just to make sure that I actually brought a rotary

I've still got some tweaking to do with them though. Ordered some new wheel studs and spacers today, decided that they look better with that extra 5mm of clearance. What I need to do is start messing around with different compounds though, the Wilwood pads that are on there kinda blow and they dust like a MOTHER, need a little less bite and a lot less dust. I've got so much clamping power and so much leverage that I want to go with a less agressive pad and shift more of the bias towards the rear. I'm still cranking down on the Prop valve and I have yet to lock up the rears... kinda discouraging considering they are a 12.2" x.81" rotor out back.... yes, that is larger than most rotaries FRONT brakes and larger still than some rotaries UPGRADED FRONT brakes.... I am brake king, hear me...... squeel?

I would be if I wasn't working 12+ hrs a day... tomorrow is my first day off since I got back, and my last for another week.... and I'll be prepping a boat for the season, then working on the Landi, I GOTTA get that thing done. I did get a few parts orders in today though so that's a plus. I'm slated for Daves on Wednesday, we'll see what happens though....

I'm doing well, how bout you? Saw your ride in PA, what's the deal with that? Good luck man, it's a PITA to fab and plan to take the bumper on and off a dozen times. Worth it though. Getting the ends bent to fit will be kinda a bitch though..... BTW, I'm ordering plans for a tubing bender

Nothing big, as they stand right now I've got the stock tops that I died black, my fibergalss bottoms, and in the center is a black material that I've never been thrilled about. A few months ago I had a burn hole repaired in the drivers seat and I had to purchase an entire yard of the grey recaro material to fix it. I've got a LOT left over so i'm going to recover the center section in that. Then my upholsterer is going to get the scraps and build me some new shift boots, ebrake boots, and a heftily padded armrest cover out of the remaining material and some Mercedes black leather. So the black leather and the grey recaro material that is in the seats will ALL match PERFECTLY! Right now they're a little light for my taste. The boots/covers that I have now will live in the 'vert as that car has a grey interior and the same RX8 seats... or it will anyway... and they'll match that interior alot better.
