Check in the For Sale section see if anyone is parting out. If not, hit up Kevin Landers.

Well, I will be pulling it myself. I just looked at the FSM, it should be pretty easy. Starter, neutral switch, reverse switch, speedo cable, 6-8 bolts, then the cross member, then drop it slowly

Put some good fluid in there. You should also change the fr & rr trans seals while you have it out & check on the shifter bushings.

Well, the shifter has been bashed to inoperability from the snapped driveshaft I found. Thats why the trans is coming out. I may just be getting a junk yard trans from the same place i got the driveshaft. As for good fluid, I plan on running the schaffers

Oh.....check the mounts too. Might as well replace them while you have the trans out.

Check to see if the linkage(s) are not bent. If they are okay, you can get away with just replacing the tail shaft housing. Dead non-turbo FC transmissions should be plentiful? -Ted |

I have a tail housing that you can have for paying shipping. Let me know as I have to take it off the transmission.
