Default stock 1980 rx7 stereo question

does the stock stereo have anywear to put a sub of there????? prob a dumb question jw........and how hard is it to pull the thing out?

Easy to pull out. Just remove the shifter boot surround, 2 screws at the
bottom of the console and then gently pop it off from the shifter console.
Then remove the knobs from the heater/AC controls and undo some more
screws up top (I think) and pop it off. The stereo is bolted in to a brace if I
remember right.

This is all from memory so far, so I may have some small details wrong but
its close.

Don't know about a sub, you would probably need a another amp to drive
it. The 80s didn't come with very fancy stereos.
