I've never seen an alternator stabilizer bar. Does it serve the same purpose as an engine torque damper and just bolts to the alt or does it actually stabilize the alternator for some reason?

Honestly, the Idea is nice but the placement is not ideal. The engine torques the opposite direction and as such is, in essence, loosening the alternator and bracket. If the alternator bracket was held in a non-pivoting fashion, then I wouldn’t have a big problem with it but, it does... It should've been put between the top air pump bracket and passenger side strut tower. Nice piece though!
