Atkins Rotary, Rotary Aviation, Mazdatrix might sell the 12A kits.

I am about to place a big order at Atkins. They rock. You are essentially getting Mazda OE, or better from them for much cheaper than the dealer. Mazdatrix is pretty good too, but check around, some of their stuff is pricey. You can actually get a soft seal kit from Fel-Pro for 12A's still. Just, for the love of God, don't use the oil control rings they come with. They are garbage. 12A's are simple, and when you put it back together, you can ditch all the emissions crap and have a very basic, uncluttered, super reliable engine.

Yeah, I am watching videos and googling the process to pull the cover and it does not look to hard. I was worried I was getting in over my head leaving my V8s and 4cyl turbo cars.....
Thanks for the start guys. I will defiantly get a build thread going once I get the engine next week. Compression test was good on the new engine, so I figure any extra parts I would need I can pull out of the one that's in the car(1 bad apex seal, one bad corner seal). |
