velvetsanity is on a distinguished road
Default Yellow----I mean, hello! lol

Hi, I'm in Killeen, TX and just recently (finally, after years of wanting one) acquired two FCs:

'87 TII project that needs a LOT of parts that I don't have the money for yet, but the engine has good compression and the turbo seems undamaged as well. Paint is badly faded Brilliant Black with mixed black and gray interior. I got it for $200 after being outbid at an auction on Ft Hood, the guy only wanted the transmission and differential. There's some hail damage, and apparently the previous owner put in quite a few S5 parts (half the interior and the rear bumper)

'88 GXL that's now supposed to be my daily driver. I found it on craigslist in Austin for $100. I hooked up jumper cables and did unflooding procedures, then drove it home. There's some body damage on the driver's side rear quarter, and it needs a new front u-joint and some minor parts. Other than the u-joint it runs great! Now if only I could find a u-joint (or a driveshaft with good ones already in it).....
This one is faded Sapphire Blue Metallic with blue/gray interior. The car is factory stock, completely unmolested! Best $100 I ever spent!

Welcome to the club!

I have a couple of driveshafts, you could have one for the shipping, unfortunately I am traveling for work right now and won't be back until December sometime.

If you can wait, I can help you out.
