Default cleaning up the engine bay - airpump / fan refurb

So. I am replacing my water pump, thermostat and doing a bunch of other maintenance items to the car.

My air pump looks like trash - well normal i guess. I don't want to remove it permanently yet. But I do want it to look better. Have any of you taken the clutch / pulley off, or the hose connections or the back plate?

I also want to make the plastic fan shroud look better than it does. Any suggestions for paint?

Tire foam. Spray a little on, wipe off excess if you can with a paper towel and let it dry. Makes underhood plastics and rubber look new w/o that gooey look you see in the used car lots.
