How to check for fuel?

can you hear the fuel pump kick on? check the ignition fuse and the fuel pump fuse. try jumping it as well, if it has low compression it needs a strong spark to start.

Maybe it is due to you having a gay engine that SWINGS freely instead of cranking.

If you go to page F-97 of the field service manual and start reading, you may learn some things. At lease do the F/P to ground test and you should be able to hear fuel flow.
