Welcome!
Obviously, we are all human here, so there is a little bit of drama, but we mostly just talk about our projects, throw out ideas and if they are bad ones, we revise them. There is a lot of technical information available in the tech forums and stickies. Congrats on your first teardown. I remember dreading mine, only to find that I had the engine in pieces in about 45 minutes. Reassembly was a different story as I recall. The front rotor is usually the one that survives, this is a corner case from my experience. I hate to say it, but eBay is probably your best bet for rotor housings. Try to buy from a reputable outfit if you can. Anyway, Welcome to the club - make yourself at home!
