Default 02 Sensor connector

Hey everyone. I just recently picked up my first FC and love the hell out of it. It runs perfectly but when I followed a random connector wrapped around an AC line, it went to the o2 sensor. The car has an aftermarket header with an o2 sensor bung with the o2 sensor in it, but it isn't plugged in. I have searched for the other end of the connector and can't find it. The car runs fine, but I can tell it's running in open loop non stop because when left idling it sucks gas and you can smell it is dumping large amounts of fuel at idle/low revs. Does anyone know where the other end of this connector is so I can get the o2 plugged in and get it running correctly again?

You're right about the O2 sensor not being connected, but the car does not use the O2 sensor to run closed-loop at idle.

Look at the bunch of wires by the ACV cluster.
It's the only shielded wire out of that bunch.

I feel extremely retarded asking this... but where is the ACV cluster?

And what does the ECU use to switch to closed loop?

The ACV cluster shoud be right above your header next to the 6 port actuators. what year is your car? Its a N/A right?

Yup, S5 NA. Sorry, should have mentioned that. I've tried to find a picture of the ACV cluster, but nothing popped up. I'm going to run down and look around for it.

I see about 4 or 5 little, what looks like, vacuum lines that wrap around from the intake. Don't know where the other two go, but two of them are just open to the air. And I see no connectors there for an o2 sensor.

Look for a single wire with a round connector on it.

You the man. When I get some more time later today I'll be finding this thing and getting my O2 plugged in. Hopefully the other end is still there, they capped the sensor side of the wire.
