Default alternator belt problems

my alternator belt loosens and tightens itself, the pulley's seem fine, the alternator adjuster is not moving could this be the belt its self?

I wouldn't think it is the belt. The belt might "loosen" (stretch/wear) over time, but it is unlikely that it would ever tighten. Sounds like your alt pulley may be coming apart. Check the small bolts holding the pieces together. Either that or some other component that the belt runs on is loose and/or shifting in a random manner.
