If you're burning silicone hoses, you think SS lines is going to be any better?
Most "SS hose" is just a rubber hose wrapped with a SS sleeve.
The rubber isn't more heat resistant than silicone (hose) is?
Granted, the SS sleeve does reject some heat, but SS has this bad property of absorbing and keeping heat in.

I'd really look into trying to rerouting your hoses to see if you can do better.
Next, I would look into hose coverings like those fire sleeves for spark plug wires?
