just thought i would post some more pics for you all. some are old, some are new. this pic is of the old gauges that came with the car. the AFR one was actually defunct as it always read "rich".

new gauges on the pillar now. i got prosport gauges just for now, when i have more money to throw away ill get Defi's. excuse the mess, my driver's door needs repair, i also have a powerdex AFR gauge on top of steering column. my air freshener is totally metal lol. the gauge cluster's hood also needed repair, i just glued it back together for the time being, i will be getting a new one courtesy of our community's living legend...Ray Crowe! center console plastic also needs refinishing, the dash aint so bad luckily. that old kenwood stereo needs to go, but audio is my last priority.yes, it still works! the funny thing about it is, the trebel is kinda high. when i pull up next to a ricer blasting their reggaeton, it really pisses them off when i crank it up with some good heavy metal or classic rock since it cuts right through lol.

this is the old intake "street port" that previous owner's builder gave him. we liken this job to giving the grinder to a kindergartner and letting them have at it. those black specs you see were from the rubber buttons used with the apex seals. they were scattered all over the housings. ugh.

this is how the new actual street port looks now inside my engine. this picture was the starting phase of it, my rotary specialist/friend hadnt finished yet. unfortunately, i wasnt able to take a photo of the completed porting he did but know that he did a great job! sorry for the blur, at the time i was giddy like a school girl and i leaned in too close.

now for a few exteriors. i took these off my album on this site, never know if ppl have seen them or not. anyway the top of the car has sun damaged paint. i will be keeping it vintage red. also the bumper is missing the R1 lip, but ill get that later when i begin the appearance phase of my project.

the damage extends all the way to the wing, i seriously cant wait to get this car painted!

my favorite pic ive taken thus far with my FD. very sexy right here! i plan to get more of these types of shots later when i get it back

more to come, and the anticipation keeps on risin...

Nice work on the car, looked pretty rough when you picked it up...

Is your haltek a complete stand alone ecu or does it just control the ignition system?
