Coolant seal grooves, and yes. Now all you need to do is determine how worn they are. Also maybe get a set of 20mm freeze plugs for the coolant ports because GSL-SE housings were undrilled, so you'll need to block these in the old housings to be compatible with your newer manifold and gasket. Also get a set of o-rings to be sure you won't get any leaks if the freeze plugs aren't sealed perfectly.
