Looking for headlights
Well, looking for driving/fog lights to be more precise. I'm doing a sleek-type headlight setup, simliar to R Magic but with RE Amemiya-type buckets, on the FD and I got some PIAA 004XT lights but they're kinda small, so I'm only going to run those on the inside and run some bigger lights on the outside, if I can find some.
CATZ MSC lights would be perfect from what I can tell, but for one they are discontinued (so if one of them breaks I'm screwed), but I can find a couple right now. Those are 3.5" diameter. http://www.sullysworld.com/motor/catzlights/msc.asp http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/catz-fet-one-new-MSC-3-1%2F2%22-driving-light-replace-OEM-_W0QQitemZ230385035392QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ2009100 6?IMSfp=TL0910061510002r36051 I had been looking at these Hella Optilux lights before, but at 4" diameter, they're pushing it on size. That would BARELY fit. http://www.autoanything.com/lights/69A1333A0A0.aspx I already have the headlight buckets, and I won't be using a lexan cover, I'm making my own half-cover. So in short, the lights I'm looking for are between 3.5" to 4" diameter and no more than about 3" to 3.5" deep. I'm leaning towards trying those CATZ lights, but I'm wondering if someone has seen something better or similar. I'd love to get HID but they're pretty expensive so I'm not really looking to do HID at this time. Thanks! |
