Default 91 13b engine making awfull noise with clutch help

Hello, new to the forums. engine in my 91 rx7 13b has started makeing a very loud racket when i engage the clutch. even sitting, you can here it when it starts up. the engine is a reman from 3 years ago. the clutch replaced about 1 year ago. I dont know much about the rotary. but compared to a piston engine, it kinda sounds like a bad rod bearing. could this be the clutch? or something else? thanks in advance

Was the pilot bearing and the throwout bearing replaced with the new clutch? It's probably one of those.

If it is either the throwout bearing, or the pilot bearing, the trans has to come out.

So it depends on your mechanics labor rates
