We have some really great cars here! Its going to be tough!

What made you do the 626 build out of curiosity?

Crap, that Bertone is friggin' sweet too.

OK, so the Bertone Luce wins the RHD competition, and the 626 wins the Rotary Conversion competition (when we have one, I already declare it the winner).

Madaz your Luce is sublime....it easily follows the 626! Have seen it pop up on Ausrotary...absolutely mint condition!

An RX87 is quite high on my wish list! Would make a nice stable mate for my L10B.

Cheers,
Danny

Thanks Danny, an L10 is the ultimate rotary in my opinion. High on my wish list also.
Have you entered it into the ROTMC before?
You have a nice collection of rotaries.
regards
Sean

For those who dont no much about Mazda's 13A here is some brief info. It was produced exclusively for the Luce. As you can see in the pics the rotor housings share the same size as the 12A at 60mm.
The 0.655x2=1310 capacity is achieved by way of "stroke" as the rotors have a radius of 120mm and an eccentric shaft offset of 17.5mm compared to 10A/12A/13B which all have a rotor radius of 105mm and eccentric shaft offset of 15mm.

Isn't the new 16X rotary engine designed using the 13A housings?

No, they are a completely new engine. Rotors and housing are bigger in width and height, it also uses direct injection
