Trade... I want your Rx2 or Rx3!!!

Let me start by saying. That the car is NOT for sale. Notice im posting this at 4a.m. in the morning. So maybe im just delerious. I been tossing around the idead of trading my beloved RHD 2nd gen for an Rx2 or Rx3. The only other car i would trade for is a 3rd gen, maybe. NOTHING else... Although im kind of hoping no one takes me up on this trade offer. I might find a nice old school RX i could enjoy just as much as this car.

1990 GTU converted to 1990 GT-X

Basically needs paint to be complete.

Has a long list of tasteful upgrades with countless hours of custom work and labor put into it. Its been the most reliable car (piston or rotary) i have ever owned. If your interested in trading i can supply you with hundreds of detailed pics and the list of upgrades/modifications that are done to it.

Just to be clear. This is NOT an imported car. It was born a LHD GTU. So it still has an average US title (clean) and possesses a standard VIN as any US Rx7. There are no problems registering or insuring this car any where. I have it registered and insured and drive it anywhere with no fear of cops. Never been pulled over. Even with cops directly beside me and/or behind me.

Those pics above are taken a few month back. Some changes/upgades have been done since then. But that gives you an idea.

remember Rx2 or Rx3 Only!!! I will make an exception for an FD, maybe though. not sure...

The only real requirements of the trade offers is they have to be running, or almost running. I will not trade for a car that has parts of the drivetrain missing. I will accept street/strip, no interior, full interior, full race, daily driver, trubo, all-motor, nitrous, ect.... whatever basically. Just be running ready for me to drive or race.

Also, I would be willing to drive or meet up for a worth while trade. This car is very reliable and i have no problem driving it any distance if need be. It just has to be worth the trip...

Thanks.

Looks like you already have an RX2 according in your sig. What is the reason to go thru all the trouble to convert it to a RHD?

I do have an Rx2, but its a long way from being ready.

The real answer for me doing the RHD swap is kinda wierd. When i got the car, it had crap interior, no engine/tranny, radiator, wiring, ect. ect. So i priced out how much for a swap, how much pieceing it together, and how much for a full front clip. And believe it or not, buying a complete front clip was MUCH less exspensive to get the car running. A front clip has EVERYTHING to gte a car running. Plus... its just cool!

Thanks...

I would hate to see it go also, and im pretty sure I will not find a good trade. Most people that have the old schools, are not going to trade them for a 2nd gen. I just would love to be competing in the local race events here in an Rx2/3 r100 ect... And i still have the other second gen. I could always re-do-it to that one. No big deal...
