Default New to the forum, Old to the rotary. Hi everyone!

Hi there everyone. My names Rob and I'm new to the forum. I saw the article on Phil Sohns FD and Eunos Cosmo in Modified Mag and couldn't resist the call of the message board talked about in the article. So, here I am.

I own a Pretty nice condition TII FC3S from 1987. It's had some mild work done to it (Mostly suspension and intake/exhaust) but I'm always in the market for more reliable information on tuning this wonderful car from the Regan Era. I have big plans for it over time, so taking care of it is my first priority, thankfuly the previous owner has done so and I have quite a gem on my hands that will shine even brighter in the coming years. I bought it in pretty much stock trim back in 2002 and fought to get it into VA emissions compliance *haven't we all?* and after getting plates for it, have enjoyed it ever since. I autocross it in the Street Prepared class (B) regularly and have just put it away for the winter(as I don't want any salt eating away at the undercarrage).

Anyone who wants to talk, feel free to shoot me a line. I'm also interested in any meets and clubs in my area for this wonderful motor.

Thanks and hope to hear from you all in the future.

Thanks Red.

Not a bad looking FC you got there. Is that an S5 tail-light conversion? I did that myself. They just look so much cooler than the square lights on the S4.

First one?

Rob

Posted some pics of my baby in the albums section on my profile. Also some of the mods on it.
How does one show the car in their 'garage' like you guys have?

At the top of the screen there is a section called "rotary rides". Go in there and it should let you make a section for yourself.

Thanks Phoenix7. Iv'e debated repainting it as the color is still fine but the clear coat is starting to peel away in spots. Doesn't look pretty. I didn't want that color initialy but it's massivly grown on me...like a tumor. You got some mighty nice FCs yourself there. And I agree...AGX's are the only way to go for a streeting machine that sees some track time.
