I'm going to try to keep this as simple as I can.
Would mating a Variable Vane Turbo to a 13B-REW , or 20B-REW be beneficial for the Rotary engine? The Rotary could potentially benefit from having a small turbo for bottom end, and then switch to being a big turbo for up top. Is this idea similar to the Sequential system? ![]() I imagine that the VVTurbo would be electronically controlled, which makes me imagine that it could be difficult to tune, or am I wrong? Has anyone ever attempted this build? I haven't found too much about it myself.

It sounds good in theory, but I have never heard of anyone doing it. I would imagine that it would depend upon how good the controller on the variable vanes was and how well it could be interfaced with an aftermarket ECU.

I've thought about that, and I thought it would be a good idea. I'm not surprised it's doable.
That being said, EFR turbos are simpler and spool really fast. I'd just go with one of those. As a matter of fact I did. TWICE. LOL |
