If you're serious, I can work up an estimate for you, but I've got about $900-$1000 in materials alone. I can see why the Horror Freight trailers are so appealing, but like you said, and I agree, I like sexy

Yup Yup, it was. I just made the assumption that the new hub would fit, that was my mistake, if I wasn't in such a hurry I would've sent it back and gotten a different hub. There's so many out there available that I'm willing to bet one can be had that won't require any machining to fit the stock wheels. But I own these now so I'm stuck machining a few thou off.

What are you going to try?

My buddy Jeff works at a local wheel and tire shop, he says he has a idea so I'm gonna let him do the brainstorming. I'll post as soon as I get the info.

Well if I ever get off my ass and start racing, I might take you up on that lol. However, I'm planning on taking some welding classes and start doing some myself anyway, so maybe this will be one of my projects once I start getting better at it. I've always loved making stuff myself, and I'll just copy your design HAHA, with a few adjustments if they're needed. It certainly is sexy though. And you gotta love having a trailer specifically tailored to your needs.

I dont know up there, but I heard that in VA, DMV needs to inspect/approve all trailers upon registration. Last I heard, people were having issues registering the harbor freight trailers.

Did you had any issues registering yours?

Yup, had a ton of problems.... had to go back actually. The first guy was a prick, the second guy was cool though, and passed me.... thankfully.... I was about to sell it for $1 to a buddy in OH (pretty lax about trailers) just to get a vin, once it has a vin its just, do your lights work? Yes. OK you're good.

Looky Looky Brian, just got one finished and one more to go.

I purchased some 5 lug hubs from Northern Tool that fit my axle and my friend AlmostStockFC (Jeff) ordered my spacer/adapters to keep the offset right and it still looks like there will need to be some machining/Dremeling (just a RCH). All in all I think it'll work.
