Well, I'm just getting tired of BS from both places... My last resort is to contact nantahala with new proposal... but Fontana is Definitely out and I bitched them out and asked them to never contact me!!

Now Nantahala is next and we'll see how they react....

Is there anything I can do Phil? I'm about as local as it gets and could go over there or something if you want. Anything to keep this event going...

I've called and left a message with nantahala.. We'll see if they call back and then if they will accept my new plan.. If not, we'll see.. But Fontana have again, disappointed me and wasted more time!! Fuckers! I don't even know why they even attempt to contact me.. They think they are such a BIG shots... Anyhow, i wouldn't get into details.. But I'm very disappointed.

Just got off the phone with Nantahala...

There is a new group sales guy.. He seems to be reasonable and he said he will get me an answer by end of tuesday... When that falls thru, I'll ask someone to check Pigean Forge (sp?).

The BOTD committee had a pretty good relation with Nantahala after our recent meet...hope it holds true for DGRR as well.

Well, I thought I had good relations until the owners went back out our verbal agreement.. We shall see.... I'm either way on this at this point.

As VR8 was saying.....we had a good thing going with Nantahala after we sat down in person.....but ofcourse on the phone is the exact same nightmare that you're going through now. I was able to meet the new "Group" coordinator in September and he seems like he's much more organized and on top of things.... hell he even sent me a "Thank You / Come Back Again" card in the mail! Hopefully he'll respond better than the last 2 or 3 Group Coordinators did. Anyway as of right now we plan on using them again for BOTD 09.
